The mission of the First Ward Community Fund is to provide educational, cultural and social enrichment for the residents of First Ward.
The Mission is accomplished by:
Providing scholarships to summer camps for children of First Ward residents.
Working with the Charlotte Housing Authority and the First Ward Recreation Center to identify people and programs that are worthy of support.
Working to establish and maintain a strong neighborhood association that is inclusive of all First Ward residents.
